Certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist for Vestibular conditions and Vertigo
Do you experience…
spinning, lightheadedness or a sense of instability?
Do these symptoms last seconds, minutes, hours, or days? Did you know you DON’T have to live with these symptoms?
Dizziness can occur at any age and usually treatable.
Vestibular rehabilitation therapy has been highly effective for most adults and children with disorders of the central balance system. The most common cause is a mechanical disorder of the inner ear called Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and can be improved with just a few physical therapy visits.
Dry Needling For Faster Healing
There are many different healing modalities available to us in the healing of the body, and in our arsenal of different healing techniques, Dry Needling has proved to be not only popular but also highly successful.
What is Dry Needling?
Dry needling is a therapeutic technique in which a trained physical therapist inserts small, sterile, filament needles into the skin and muscle. Dry needling evokes a healing response in painful neuromuscular conditions.
Dry needling is based on Western medical principles and evidence-based research. The technique targets the painful area to induce a healing response in nerves, muscles, and connective tissue. Dry needling is used to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
How does it work?
The needle used in the procedure is very thin and may produce a twitch response. Research has shown that when a needle is successfully inserted into the dysfunctional area, it can cause a favorable bio-chemical change. Inserting the needle can help return the muscle to it’s normal, relaxed state over time. The treated area will respond by increasing blood flow to create a healing response.
Typically, within a few visits, patients see positive results including reduced chronic pain, improved strength, and flexibility.
Everyone needs to exercise, but there are different gradients involved in that. If you have just had a hip replacement you aren’t going to be running a marathon; and likewise, if you are a professional or amateur athlete you are going to have different requirements that need to be met. We understand this and we work with you to develop the best possible exercise regime for you.
Our highly trained and friendly team will make your scheduled exercise, combined with whatever therapy you might need, the best possible experience. We know that you are going to benefit from the very successful approach that we use, and that your life will be improved drastically by handling whatever it is that you need to handle.

Spinal manipulation can relieve spine related pain by improving mobility at a joint, restoring blood flow, reducing muscle tension, and improving muscle function. Many studies have shown it to be effective in treating spine pain, especially when it is acute. When we use spinal manipulation with patients, it is often used as a component to Physical Therapy treatment.
If you have any questions at all about what conditions can be helped by spinal manipulation please contact us, and we would be happy to provide you with the information you need.

Having a back problem is no fun – it can keep you out of work, and it can stop you from doing everyday things that you might have taken for granted before the problem presented itself. There are a lot of different ways in which your spine can be affected and it is quite common for someone to experience back pain at some point in their life.
Not everyone is aware that there are many alternatives to over-the-counter medication, or that these pills very often only mask the symptoms rather than providing any real solutions.
